Funding the Choir

Research has indicated that it takes at least $3,000 to properly start a group like this.  Our experience with the cost indicates that this number is approximately what the real costs are.

Money is needed to pay an accompanist, another choir director, paying for sheet music (about $75 for each song to be performed with some going for about $130), performance venues, marketing cost including this website, and various other marketing activities.

We have started a Go Fund Me page at: https://gofund.me/fcd5e3570. One-hundred percent of donations raised will go to the activities listed in the above paragraph.

So what do you get from the donation?  You are funding a group that has live performances made up of men from the Pearland area. This group will try to have a minimum of four performances per year that charges no admission fee. You are supporting a family activity as we are accepting father and son teams in the choir.  We also offer free basic singing lessons for men.

Interesting note: Dallas has two large men's choirs that perform - The Turtle Creek Choir and the Vocal Majority.

NOTE: We are in the process of acquiring our not for profit status with the IRS -we will notify you when this process is complete.
